Ever thought about tweezing your eyebrows at home? I did – but doubted my skills at first.

Luckily, my professional beautician friend shared her foolproof method. It's surprisingly simple!

With years of trial and error plus her expert guidance, here's my trusted routine for flawless home eyebrow shaping.

The shape of my face

Today's trend favors defined yet natural eyebrows that frame the eyes and enhance your features.

To find the inner starting point, hold tweezers or a pencil vertically at the bridge of your nose. Tweeze any stray hairs inside that line.

For the outer end, angle from the corner of your mouth to the outer eye corner. Remove anything beyond.

This pro technique from my beautician friend eliminates guesswork – no endless debates on face shape or ideal length.

Even with fuller brows, resist over-plucking to a thin line – it can alter your natural look.

Key rule: Keep the inner portion thicker near the eye, then taper gradually outward.

Arch upward for the first 3/4, then angle down for the last 1/4, honoring your brow's natural curve while customizing thickness.

For arched brows, soften the peak; for straight ones, round the middle with balanced thickness. Lightly tweeze above both ends, then refine as needed for symmetry.

When and how to tweeze?

For minimal discomfort, tweeze post-shower when pores are open. If pain lingers, try a cold compress or numbing cream.

I do a full shape monthly and weekly touch-ups. Always use clean tweezers sanitized with 60° alcohol.

For very bushy brows, skilled users can opt for wax strips – but start slow.

Afterward, brush into place, avoid events to dodge redness, and soothe with shea butter moisturizer.

Savings achieved

Salon treats like facials or massages are worth it occasionally.

But routine waxing (legs, bikini, brows) adds up fast.

At €10 per brow session, 10 visits yearly total €100.

At home? Practically free after your initial tweezers investment.
