Why don't we eat fish?
Most fish is quite pricey and that is the main reason why we don't put enough fish on the menu. One fifth of the Dutch are afraid of choking on a bone. There is also an aversion to cleaning fish and we turn up our noses at the smell. 14 percent of the Dutch are not fond of the taste of fish.
